Designworks receives iF Awards and Good Design Awards 2016
HIGHEST DISTINCTION FOR AUGMENTED REALITY GLASSES CONCEPT CREATED ON BEHALF OF MINI
Every year, companies from around the globe subject their products and services to the rigorous testing of the iF DESIGN AWARD. To win an iF Gold award is reserved for very few companies only. In 2016, out of more than 5,000 submissions from 53 countries, iF awarded 75 with an iF Gold Award. Our team was among the winners receiving the prize for the Augmented Reality Glasses concept which was created on behalf of the MINI brand and together with partners from the
Technology Office at BMW Group. With their decision the IF jury recognized the design quality that was reached at the crossing point where reality and the digital world meet. For the MINI Glasses project researchers, industrial designers, color and material experts, graphical user interface and user experience designers from our studios in Los Angeles, Munich and Shanghai worked closely together.
