Designworks at CES Asia 2017

Transforming the future transportation experience. Showcase and Panel Discussion 6/9/2017.

Eric Brown, Director of Interaction Design for the Designworks LA studio and Liu Shen Director of Strategic Partnering for the Designworks Shanghai studio, will be presenting the BMW i Inside Future sculpture, with BMW China, to attendees at the 2017 CES Asia in Shanghai from June 7-9 (center of Hall N3).

The BMW i Inside Future sculpture, created at Designworks’ Los Angeles studio, showcases new modal inputs, displays and technologies applied in a symphonious, premium physical and digital experience.

The Road Map for Self-Driving Vehicle Technology

Additionally, Eric will join a panel discussion with a  group of key industry leaders to discuss how the transportation experience will transform as the self-driving car speeds toward reality. The group will discuss how to ensure a smooth mobility experience for all stakeholders including drivers and outline the milestones lying ahead and how innovators can navigate the road to success. As a leader on the creation of the Inside Future Eric will share first hand insights from the design process and talk about the challenges in conceiving new ways of interaction between the driver, the passenger and the future vehicle.
