Go where the energy is.
What if in the future you don’t have to decide whether you’re taking a train or a car? What if there will be smooth cross-sector travel? And what if an app will virtually lead you through your next journey while you’re still on a plane? Changing customer expectations require new multidisciplinary solutions for the passenger transport industry, which enable passengers to go wherever they want without thinking of the means of transportation, blurring the boundaries between different mobility sectors.
Under the title “Go where the energy is! Cross-industry learning to shape the future of mobility in an intermodal context” Jürgen Schlaht, Head of Innovation Management, Siemens AG, and Andrea von Rhein, Associate Director of Creative Consulting at Designworks Munich, will share insights into new ideas for a wider future mobility ecosystem, addressing the challenges implied for the rail industry at the upcoming InnoTrans fair, taking place on 19 September in Berlin.

“How can vehicles and interiors meet the demands of emerging technologies and changing customer expectations? How can we design an intuitive communication between travelers, transport and operators? How can we create travel experiences that appeal to all five senses?” These and more questions will be addressed throughout the event.
