The Building Blocks of our Connected Lives.
Few economic sectors are currently undergoing such fundamental and rapid changes like mobility. Fueled by digitalization and rising customer expectations, the boundaries between industries such as automotive and Consumer Electronics are dissolving. And while living room, kitchen, car and office are becoming significant building blocks of our connected lives, they also represent an exciting exploration ground for designers to understand and shape all areas of our future lives. Under the title “Kitchen, Car and Office: The Building Blocks of our Connected Lives”, John Schoenbeck, Director of Strategic Partnering at Designworks’ Munich Studio, will explore these topics at Shift Automotive, taking place as part of IFA Berlin from 4 to 5 September. He will investigate the main phenomena of “mobility in change“, outlining how the automotive industry prepares for its new role within a holistic mobility ecosystem and how industries like Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances can benefit from this change, whilst enriching our mobile lives.
