Based on an extensive understanding of mobility and discerning customers, Designworks has created a concept for a new level of business class travel, focusing on a purely customer-centric experience.
As airlines have only a limited amount of available physical space to differentiate themselves from competitors our “New Balance” concept sets out to carefully tare this given in a cabin with an evolution of how space, comfort,
privacy and control could be re-imagined. The spatial balance was achieved through a lightweight seat design that enlarges the visual perception of space without compromising an airline’s defined seat pitch. The concept of balance also served to outfit the seat as a wardrobe and a personal computer. Along with creating a lavish amount of storage, the traveler’s personal devices can be connected to the seat.
With seamlessly integrated technology this seating environment functions as a personal workspace above the clouds. A sophisticated color and material concept subtly balances the implementation of cutting-edge technology with cushioning warm and natural materials.
