Laura is the Studio Director of Designworks Los Angeles studio, responsible for 75+ Creatives making magic in diverse design consulting disciplines. Laura’s role is one of brokering influence and balancing sustainable practices.

In nearly 20 years at Designworks in different areas, Laura has been at the forefront of Design Service expansion, including Interaction Design and Creative Consulting practices in Innovation, Design Research and Design Strategy, pushing for an increasing significance of design. She frequently finds herself in “what next” conversations, and is passionate about Design’s role as an influencer in future business strategies.

Laura graduated from Boston University and MIT Media Lab with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Visual Studies respectively. A consummate learner and teacher, Laura helped form the digital curriculum at Art Center College of Design and takes part as a guest graduate at UCLA.
